Who am I?
I am a Toronto-based indie hacker who designs, codes and markets stuff. I feel gucci when I am building digital products that impact people's lives in meaningful ways.
Why did I build this?
In my 5+ years in marketing, I have seen marketers looking to highlight offers, gather feedback, promote app ratings etc. on the marketing site. I have also seen them suffer trying to convince devs to prioritize their asks and get those campaigns out the door.
I wished there was a better way to:
- Build, schedule, launch and manage website campaigns.
- Show the right notification to the right visitor.
That’s sitenote.
What’s sitenote’s philosophy?

We are spending more and more time online. It’s not just our personal lives - at work, we increasingly stare at and interact with soulless B2B software. I believe that we all deserve better design and functionality. So I set out to create a product that has a heart and makes you happy when you use it.
Craftsmanship in software
I know a carpenter who operates independently. He is true to his customers and to his craft. His products bear a distinct signature - I want to be such a craftsman but for SaaS.
Longevity
Software is easy to change, easy to optimize, easy to iterate on. But it’s also fleeting. People give up on it, move on. I want to resist that, I want to work on sitenote for at least the next 10 years - I think that's how long it takes to build something truly impactful.
